How do I become a Driving Instructor?

Before you start the process you need to make sure you meet the below requirements:

• You must be 21 years old or over and have held a full UK Driving Licence for 3+ years
• You should not have been disqualified from driving in the last 4 years
• You should not have any more than 5 driving penalty points
• You must obtain a DBS check, formerly known as a CRB check

The qualifying examination is in three parts:

Part 1 - THEORY & HAZARD PERCEPTION TEST

Consists of a multiple-choice section and a video-basedhazard perception section
